A guildie had an Emerald Blade drop in Kathandrax yesterday, so they do indeed drop there.

Why don't they implement the new skins all at once ?
It would take longer to find their locations since we can only focus on one weapon at a time when searching. Both Frog Wand, Serpentine Reaver and the two shield have been found a few hours after release. Way to fast imho.

okies just so we aren't sent on a wild goose chase (and since wiki did say yesterday that it dropped from the Deep but now says that Emerald Blade drops from Kathandrax) can anyone post a screenie of them getting it in Catacombs of Kathandrax that would be appreciated

I don't even want to think about how many lockpicks I've went through in Dalada over the past 3 days. Had a high req draconic spear drop from chest, but no shield or compass.

At the rate most of these are dropping try within the month. Voltaic and eternal blades are still more scarce,than any of these weapons or shields.

Very nice! That's cuz it is longer than b4. Obsidian Edge was one of the new weapons that was updated to be longer on March 7th.

Wow, the Obsidian Edge is nice. Too bad it can't be dyed... Texmod can fix that! When they become cheap I might get one and mod it to be silver with coloured accents.

I will also confirm that Catacombs of Kathandrax drops the sword because my guildie got one last night (r10 deathbane, so not inscribable). The dungeon takes ~35 minutes to H/H in Normal, so anyone who wants the sword can easily go attempt a few times.

Also, deathbane doesnt mean it is going to be uninscribable. If you want proof just pm me.

Oh wow that obsidian blade looks really nice after the update.

Though I cant figure out why they are selling for so much..... they seem to be much more common then the other weapons.

I finally seen a Emerald Blade in hand of someone, and I just have to say I am pretty disappointed. The skin looks like it is hard plastic, barely any shine to it at all, and no animations that are visible... I have my graphics pretty much max with Post Processing on, so that ain't case. It is still kind of medium sized too... which I also don't like. I hope they have another update to change the skin to something that would glow and be chromed out or something. Not sure what emerald is supposed to look like, but it definately don't look like anything special... Dull lookins sword and big disappointment so far.
